Your Polycom (Poly) phone rings when your Hey Quad extension rings, along with your other devices.

Make a call

  1. Lift the handset, or press the speaker key.
  2. Dial a coworker's extension, or a full phone number.
  3. Press the phone's dial or send key, or wait a moment and the call goes through.

Answer a call

Lift the handset, or press the speaker key.

Put a caller on hold

Press Hold. Press it again to come back to the caller.

Transfer a caller

  1. Press Transfer.
  2. Dial the extension or number.
  3. Finish the transfer the way your phone's screen shows. You can hand the call over right away, or wait for the other person to answer and speak to them first.

Voicemail

  • The message light comes on when you have new voicemail, and goes off once you've heard it. On most phones the dial tone also stutters while it is on.
  • To listen, press the Messages key, or dial *97. Your organization may use a different code: it's on Settings → Voicemail.
  • From your own phone you go straight in, unless your organization asks for your PIN. In the menu:
    • 1 listens to your messages. While a message plays: 5 replay, 7 delete, 9 save, 6 next, 4 previous, * back to the menu.
    • 8 changes your PIN. * hangs up.
  • You can also listen in the Voicemail tab of the phone in your browser or the desktop app, or in your email.

Good to know

  • Call park isn't turned on for Hey Quad. Use Hold or Transfer instead.
  • To move a call from this phone to your computer, click Switch call here in the browser or desktop app.
  • If the phone shows no service, restart it. If it still doesn't connect, tell your admin.
  • Never dial 911 to test the phone.

For your admin: connecting this phone

If the phone didn't come from Hey Quad already set up, open it on the Devices page and copy the Provisioning URL from its Provisioning tab. Open the phone's web settings page in a browser and go to Settings → Provisioning Server. Set Server Type to HTTPS and paste the URL into Server Address. Save, then restart the phone.
